Slimesventure: Your Destination – 1. Year Anniversary

Hello Community, the time has finally come, Slimesventure: Your Destination – 1. Year Anniversary is today! Exactly one year ago, we published this project on Steam and for almost 2 years, this project has accompanied us in our daily work.

What concerns us most.

Slimesventure: Your Destination had a focus on exploration at the beginning. Over time, more ideas crept in to encourage players to explore the map, see new areas and discover things, like main and side quests. Time Management was designed to challenge the player to get as much done as possible in as little time as possible. Of course, there was not much time to explore for long periods of time, as you had to concentrate on your next objective.

But we always missed the sound design, especially when you were travelling to collect resources, trade or explore a new area. Each section of the map has its own atmosphere, and we weren’t really able to convey that to the player.

Our next steps

But in order to get back on a positive track and to make Slimesventure: Your Destination even better, the next update will be “Sound & Atmosphere 1.4”, where (presumably) each map section will get its own music and atmosphere. We are also adding more sound effects and change many of the currently existing ones. This will make the game even more lively and gives a much better player experience.

We do not yet have an exact release date for the 1.4 update. However, it is expected that it will be released sometime between October and November.

I would also like to thank every player who has played Slimesventure and also who has shared their playing experiences and problems with us.
